         Dear Catalyst members,
             We're changing our six monthly membership donations to be due in January and July for all members. Our volunteer energy will only stretch to twice
yearly accounting efforts, hope you're with us.

             This is the Jan reminder so have a think about were you/your group
fits into the donation rates below and get your cheque book out :)

             These are the lowest contributions that Catalyst can survive on. We don't want to lay down exact needs, because we want you to choose your level of support. We are about collaboration after all, not commerce. We are proudly independent of any funding with its inevitable strings.

             No money goes to pay for work - its all volunteer labour here at Cat. Which in itself is another kind of donation you may consider. But no matter how idealistic, we can't avoid basic ongoing costs to Cat, like internet connection fees for hosting you and your groups.

             We leave it to you to decide how much you will donate to be up to date. When donating, let us know whether you are paying till jan 31 or july 31.
   Why stop there? Jan 31 2025 is lookin' good :)

             At the same time we are asking all members to help us keep in contact with them by emailing us your latest contact details. Rest assured that this
info will not be passed onto anyone else and is kept in our private membership database that is password protected and only viewable by the few collective members that have volunteered to maintain the database.
             What we would like to know is;

                 1 Full Members Name  (or Organisation name)

                 2 Logon name         (i.e. name@cat.org.au)

                 3 Contact Name       (if different from membership name)

                 4 Mail address

                 5 Telephone

                 6 Donation category  (Unwaged/Waged/Group)

             We will be sending out a reminder in a month or so and if after that we don't hear back from you we will need to pause your membership and archive your mail and web pages that are on the catalyst computers and take them off line (it can be reactivated on request).

         EQUIPMENT: We're always grateful for gifts of reasonably up to date computer equipment such as pentium processors (200MHz or faster), RAM, hard disks with over 1Gig capacity and any PC or mac equipment less than 3 years old.
